Welcome To Stafford Rapier Society

Stafford Rapier Society is a sword study group that was formed in 2002 by Master Mike Ray and a group of friends with the aim of studying and recreating all forms of western martial arts. Focusing on various sword forms including Sword and Buckler, Hand and a Half and Rapier we study from a variety of sources and are constantly seeking to improve our knowledge and skills.

Each member has trained to use the weapons on display which minimises the risk of injury considerably and still allows us to perform combat as it would have been during the period.
